Moonlight Over Laurel: A 1950s Evening

There will be moonlight over Laurel Saturday, April 4, 2009 when the Laurel Historical Society holds its annual gala evening. Moonlight Over Laurel: A 1950s Evening will evoke the atmosphere of a lush and romantic 1950s dinner dance.
Held at the Laurel Park Carriage Room, Moonlight Over Laurel will feature romantic 1950s dance music by the Swing Time Big Band, punctuated by the Rock and Roll songs that made the era a teen favorite.
A silent auction with unique and exciting items will add to the fun and guarantee this is a not-to-be missed evening.
