Horace Capron: 200 Years
Explore the life of one of Laurel's most distinguished citizens. Horace Capron was a founder of Laurel, and responsible for much of its early growth. After leaving Laurel his career included serving as a Civil War General, US Commissioner of Agriculture, and as an advisor to the government of Japan to develop the province of Hokkaido.
